Look closely at the greatest sages of human history.
Confucius, Jesus, and Siddhartha Gautama—
Not a single one of them ever wrote a book with their own hands.

 

They left no written letters.
They only shouted the truth through their footsteps and bare voices.

 

Why do you think they did that?
Because the moment humans get their hands on written text,
Their petty instinct kicks in to twist it, cut it,
And 'edit' it to fit their own taste

 

They build walls for their own gain,
Divide people by dogma, and fight like enemies.

 

But the teachings of the sages were unedited,
A trembling from within, the voice of a naked conscience.

 

Look at the Quran with a full understanding of the Bible.
Adam is there, Moses is there, and Jesus is there.
Once you strip away the shell of letters,
The truth under heaven flows into one single river.

 

So stop trapping yourself in the letters right before your eyes.
Stop dividing "your religion" and "my religion," and stop editing your life.

 

True truth is not trapped inside a book.
It is the very 'attitude of life' that those sages embodied.

 

If you strip away all human calculations and look at the core,
"At the end of the day, they kept it raw and unedited, didn't they?"

 

Yet, there are always those people.
They live a total mess of a life, and still ask, "So what?"

 

Let me tell you this: Stop making excuses and stop running away.

[예연의 암송시] 우야튼 편집 안 했다 아이가?

인류의 위대한 성인들을 가만히 들여다보라.
공자도, 예수도, 석가모니 싯다르타도,
평생 책을 단 한 권도 직접 쓰지 않았다.

 

그들은 문자를 남기지 않았다.
오직 삶의 걸음과 목소리로만 진리를 외쳤다.

 

왜 그랬겠는가?
인간은 문자를 손에 쥐는 순간,
자기 입맛대로 해석하고 깎아내며
잔머리로 '편집'하려는 얄팎한 본능이 있기 때문이다.

 

내 이익에 맞춰 울타리를 치고,
교리로 편을 가르고 원수가 되어 싸운다.

 

그러나 성인들의 가르침은 편집할 수 없는
내면의 떨림이자, 벌거벗은 양심의 목소리였다.

 

성경을 온전히 알고 꾸란을 펼쳐보라.
그 속에 아담이 있고 모세가 있고 예수가 있다.
문자의 껍데기를 벗겨내면
하늘 아래 진리는 결국 하나의 강물로 통한다.

 

그러니 눈앞의 책과 문자에 갇혀
네 종교 내 종교 편 가르고 인생을 편집하지 마라.

 

진짜 진리는 책 속에 갇혀 있는 것이 아니라,
그 성인들이 몸소 보여준 '삶의 태도' 그 자체다.

 

인간의 잔머리 다 떼어내고 본질만 바라보면,
"우야튼 편집 안 했다 아이가?"

 

근데 꼭 보면 이래 말해줘도,
지 삶은 개판으로 살면서 "그래서 어쩌라고?" 묻는 인간들이 있다.

 

내 가라사대, 핑계 대고 도망갈 생각 마라.
성인들이 편집 없이 올곧게 남겨준 그 양심대로,
오늘 딱 내 눈앞에 있는 이웃 하나 성실하게 사랑하고,
내 할 일 정직하게 받아치며 살아내면 그뿐이다.

 

말만 번지르르하게 편집하지 말고,
니 양심부터 오늘 당장 올곧게 '행동'하란 말이다!
