"가톨릭 신인의 서재에서 울려 퍼지는 자비의 선율, 평화의 정화 알고리즘"

나는 평생 예수를 따르고 고백해 온 가톨릭 신자다.

그러나 내 서재 '노래난로당'에서는 불교의 '자비경(Mettā chant)'이 잔잔히 흘러나오며 내 영혼을 치유하곤 한다.

누군가는 종교의 벽을 말할지 모르나,

"모든 살아 있는 존재들이 평화롭고 행복하기를" 염원하는 이 노래의 언어는

성 프란치스코의 '평화의 기도'나 그리스도께서 공관복음에서 선포하신 사랑의 대계명과 완벽하게 기어가 맞물려 돌아간다.

 

평생 1초의 병목도 용납하지 않는 냉혹한 시간의 함수f(t) 속에서 물류와 현장을 통제하며 살아온 엔지니어의 눈에,

마음속 증오와 불안은 영혼의 흐름을 막아버리는 가장 치명적인 병목 현상이다.

자비경은 종교적 교리를 넘어, 내 마음의 모든 찌꺼기를 걸러내고 영혼의 선순환을 유도하는 가장 정밀한 '정화의 알고리즘'이다.

이 거룩한 소리를 들으며, 나는 오늘도 내 영혼이 늙지 않고 흐르는 시간 속에서 주체적으로 존재함을 느낀다.

I am a faithful Catholic who has followed and confessed Christ all my life.

Yet, inside my study, Noraenallodang, the Buddhist 'Mettā chant' often flows gently, bringing deep healing to my soul.

While some might raise the walls of religious dogma, the essence of this chant—wishing for "all living beings to be peaceful and happy"—meshes perfectly like a beautifully aligned gear with the 'Prayer of Saint Francis' and the supreme commandment of love proclaimed by Christ.

 

As an engineer who spent over 40 years controlling logistics within the ruthless function of time, f(t), where not a single second of bottleneck is permitted, I know that internal hatred and anxiety are the most fatal blockages in our existence.

The Mettā chant transcends religious boundaries; it acts as a precise 'purification algorithm' that filters out the emotional debris and restores a healthy, fluid cycle to the soul. Listening to this sacred sound,

I find my soul refusing to grow old, remaining vibrantly sovereign within the flowing stream of time.
